A Scriptural Prayer for those who do not know and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord

Lord your word says that the minds of those who do not know you have been hardened and made dull, and the gospel has been veiled from their eyes. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 3:14, 4:3-4 NIV).

Therefore Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, lift the veil and remove the spiritual blindness from __________ mind, thoughts, mental perceptions and heart disposition! Cause your light to shine into his/her life and show him/her your glory and the great need he/she has for you. Bring conviction of sin, righteousness and the eternal judgment that awaits everyone (John 16:8).

Open __________  eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18 ESV).

For God you said “Let light shine in the darkness,” and you made your light to shine into my heart. Let your light shine into __________ heart to give him/her the light of the knowledge of the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6 ESV & NLT).

Jesus, you said “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them” and “everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to me” (John 6:44-45, 65 NIV). Father, please draw them to Jesus and open their ears that they might hear what you are saying to them and learn from you.

Therefore I keep asking glorious Father, God of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you will give __________ the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation, so that he/she may know you. I pray that the eyes of his/her heart may be enlightened that he/she may know what is the hope to which [you have] called him/her, and what are the riches of [your] glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of [your] power toward those who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19 ESV).

Jesus you also said “I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to Father except through me.” “No one knows the Father except the son and anyone the son chooses to reveal him” (John 14:6 & Matthew 11:27 NIV). Jesus, would you please reveal the Father to __________?

I thank you that you have heard me.  It is your will that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. I praise you Lord, the God of all flesh, that there is nothing too hard for you! You have loved __________ with an everlasting love and now with loving kindness you are drawing him/her to yourself (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Jeremiah 32:27, 31:3 NIV).

I will give you all the glory and praise for their salvation!  Amen
