Distractions can prove deadly. Even what seems good, when it side tracks us from the best, exacts a toll.

Things that side track us from following after God are the worst. The big three are the allurements of sin, the world, and self-conceit (1 John 2:16).

Great advice in this verse. We need to be ruthless with ourselves in keeping our eyes on the prize and eliminating distractions from our lives.
