“Never
give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful.” Colossians 4:2 CEV
When answers to our prayers tarry, while the temptation to give up increases,
it’s a great encouragement to read these words of the Apostle Paul reiterating
the teaching of Jesus to “always pray and never give up!”
It emphasizes the fuel for persistent prayer is thanksgiving. Praising and
thanking God, no matter what the circumstances, releases faith in His
faithfulness to hear and answer us.
