Say the Lord’s Prayer:

I confess that I do not know how I ought to pray but the Holy Spirit helps me in my weakness and intercedes through me with groaning’s too deep for words. (Romans 8:26)  Lord your Word says that we should “Be filled with the Spirit.” and “It is not by might, nor by power, but by thy Holy Spirit.”  (Ephesians 5:18 & Zechariah 4:6)

Therefore I ask you now to fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit.  You have promised if we ask, seek and knock, “How much more shall our heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him.”  (Luke 11:13)  I yield myself to you Holy Spirit and invite you to come and “live and move and have your being in me.”  (Acts 15:28)

Pause now to consciously invite the Holy Spirit to come and take control.

Take a Deep Breathe and Exhale.  As you do, imagine the Holy Spirit being released afresh in your life.

Welcome Spirit of Truth, take the things of Jesus and reveal them to me. (John 16:13-14)

Standing:

I now take my stand before you, to serve you in prayer and intercession and to resist the devil and his schemes clothed in your armor of light.  (James 4:7, Romans 13:12)

I put on the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness and shod my feet with the Gospel of Peace; I take up the Shield of Faith, the helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.  AND I will Pray in the Spirit on All Occasions with All Kinds of Prayers and Requests. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Lord I pray that you might make me and my house a house of prayer for all nations.  (Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17 & Luke 19:46)

I take my place as a Watchman on your Wall.  Guide me to pray that I might prevent evil from befalling your chosen, righteous and innocent ones . . . Lord have mercy on them!     (As Moses & Samuel interceded for Israel and Esther & Mordecai interceded for the Jews – Psalm 106:23)

I pray that you might prosper the faithful . . . bless them to be a blessing!  Bless the work of their hands.  Watch over their coming and going both now and forever.  (Genesis 12:2, Psalm 121:8)

I declare: Let God arise and His enemies be scattered, let all who hate Him flee before Him. (Psalm 68:1)  Break the arm of the wicked and let the wicked be caught in the evil they plan for others. (Psalm 37:7, Psalm 10:2)  God make a way where there is no way! (Isaiah 43:19)

Add personal prayers as the Holy Spirit prompts and leads . . .

Conclude with:

Lord I pray that of the increase of your government and peace there will be no end.  That your Gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all nations to usher in your return.  May you be adored and glorified both now and forever – Amen (Isaiah 9:7, Matthew 24:14)
