Say the Lord’s Prayer:
I confess that I do not know how I ought to pray but the Holy Spirit helps me in my weakness and intercedes through me with groaning’s too deep for words. (Romans 8:26) Lord your Word says that we should “Be filled with the Spirit.” and “It is not by might, nor by power, but by thy Holy Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18 & Zechariah 4:6)
Therefore I ask you now to fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit. You have promised if we ask, seek and knock, “How much more shall our heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him.” (Luke 11:13) I yield myself to you Holy Spirit and invite you to come and “live and move and have your being in me.” (Acts 15:28)
Pause now to consciously invite the Holy Spirit to come and take control.
Take a Deep Breathe and Exhale. As you do, imagine the Holy Spirit being released afresh in your life.
Welcome Spirit of Truth, take the things of Jesus and reveal them to me. (John 16:13-14)
Standing:
I now take my stand before you, to serve you in prayer and intercession and to resist the devil and his schemes clothed in your armor of light. (James 4:7, Romans 13:12)
