God’s Not Done With You

June 30th, 2019 · by Tom Stuart · Overcoming, Relationship with God

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 ESV

The workings of God’s eternal purposes in our lives, shaping us into His image and likeness, and preparing us for an eternity with Him in heaven are determined and unwavering. Neither a valley of shattered dreams nor a pinnacle of success are termination points in the journey.

With God there is no such thing as being “over-the-hill.” Jesus death, burial, and resurrection are proof positive that with Him in control of our lives, as the saying goes, every “setback is a setup for a comeback.”

GOD’S NOT DONE WITH YOU

Even with your broken heart and your wounds and your scars,
God’s not done with you.

Even when you’re lost and it’s hard and you’re falling apart,
God’s not done with you. It’s not over, it’s only begun.

So don’t hide, don’t run
‘Cause God’s not done with you!'”
