The Call to Pray for America

“As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause.” Job 5: 8 ESV

When David arrived at the battlefront and found the Israelites cowering at Goliath’s daily taunts, a passion to contend for God’s purposes arose within him declaring “IS THERE NOT A CAUSE?”

One of the responsibilities we have as Christians is to become deeply committed advocates before God for those causes with which He grips our hearts.

Having celebrated the 4th of July this week marking the birth of our nation and the Godly ideals for which it stands, I pray your heart is stirred like mine to make it a cause for which we will step up in faith and commit to faithful intercession.

“God bless America, land that I love, Stand beside her and guide her Through the night with the light from above.

From the mountains to the prairies, To the oceans white with foam. God bless America, my home sweet home.”

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Psalm 33:12 ESV

    A great reminder
    I must confess I don’t
    always intercede as one
    Of God’s prayer warriors
    .

Sir, very timed issue for the Church to intercede for USA. Above any country US needs Intercession, Fire cover of barrage of volleys to pin down the enemy and Holy Spirit to reach-out and bring awareness , revival within the nation.
