“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:17 NKJV
In rereading an old journal from years ago, I came across a desperate prayer I had penned when I was very upset with someone about something they had done.
With a desire for future confidentiality, I had coded the details and the person’s name. Now for the life of me, I cannot recall that event, let alone figure out who or what it was about.
How much more, in the light of eternity, will the thing that upsets us so today, in retrospect seem to have never existed. So why worry, when in the end by God’s grace, we will be all the better for it?
